He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Akira Tanaka and Natsue Tanaka; his wife Dawn Mustaki Tanaka; his sister Setsuko Masaki of Japan; his sister-in-law Mitsue Tanaka of Japan; and his nieces and nephews, Ayako Masaki, Yumiko Tanaka, Hideki Tanaka, Pamela Cary, Christopher Cary, Craig Cary, George Croton, Harry Croton and Grace Gibbs.
