He was predeceased by: his sibling Dennis McCarthy; and his parent Edna McCarthy. He is survived by: his spouse Frances; his children, Kerri McCarthy and Matthew McCarthy; his sibling Edward McCarthy; his siblings-in-law, Monica McCarthy, Vincent DiMarco, Jacqueline DiMarco and Rosaria DiMarco; his sibling's children, Daniel, Andrew and Sarah McCarthy; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Henry, Miles and Clara McCarthy; and his parent Edward S. McCarthy.
