He was predeceased by : his parents, Mary Sassano and Paul Sassano; his wife Gloria Bucciantini; his sister Paula; and his brother-in-law Lawrence DePaolis.
He is survived by : his children, Laura Morrissey (Richard) of Washingtonville, NY, Jeannine Pellitteri of Stony Point, NY and Paul Sassano (Melissa) of Carrollton, TX.; his grandchildren, William Morrissey (Melissa Liik), Steven Morrissey, Brianna Pellitteri, Miranda Pellitteri, Bryan Sassano (Elizabeth), Nicholas Sassano and Melanie Sassano; and his close friend Marybeth Marquard of Pt.
Visitation will be held on January 3rd from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm. (Please adhere to all NYS DOH Social Distancing Guidelines) at the David T. Ferguson Funeral Home, 20 North Street, Washingtonville, NY.
