We are sad to announce that on September 21, 2021, at the age of 95, Violet M. Sleight of Swain, New York, born in Warsaw, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Truax and Ruby Truax; her husband Floyd Sleight; her children, Bette Glover and Darwin Sleight; her grandson Gary Glover; and her siblings, Viola Blowers, Hazel Rawlings, Edith Rawleigh, Dorothy Truax, Florence Burr, Jessie Truax, Betty Howe, Evelyn Anderson, Donald, William and Maynard Truax.
She is survived by: her brother Nursery; her children, Lisa Scott (Doug Griffith) of Dansville and Steven Sleight (Michelle) of Canaseraga; her siblings, Joyce Truax of Swain and John "Jack" Truax of Dalton; her grandchildren, Kiana Sleight, Noah Sleight, Joseph Scott, Larry Glover (Mara), Sherri Dunning (Joseph) and Taryn Scott; and her great grandchildren, Dallas Johnson (Nick), Devon Harris-Glover, Alynn Dunning Anastyn Dunning, Alyssa Glover and Dahlia Glover. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
