She was predeceased by: her parents, Catherine Bugaj and Francis Bugaj (Robert); and her siblings, Helen Nestor, William, Edward Bugaj and Gen.
She is survived by: her daughters, Gail Smorol (Michael) and Valerie J. Krasnewich; her grandsons, Brian Smorol (Emily), David Smorol (Kristy), Thomas Smorol (Amber), Mark Smorol and Joshua DeJesus; and her great grandchildren, Anna, Christopher, Sophie Smorol and Michael Smorol. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 15th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Hollis Funeral Home (1105 W Genesee St, Syracuse, NY 13204). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 at 9:30 AM at the Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Jesus (927 Park Ave, Syracuse, NY 13204). A burial will be held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Cemetery (200 Salisbury Rd, Syracuse, NY 13219).
