Marguerite left this world on November 4, 2025 at the age of 92, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Nicholas Matteo and Concetta Matteo; and her husband Edmond L. Cowan. She is survived by: her brother Gene Matteo (Ingeborg); and her grandson Michael Magistro.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Thomas J. Pirro Jr. Funeral Home (3401 Vickery Rd, Syracuse, NY 13212). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, November 11th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Blessed Sacrament Church (3127 James St, Syracuse, NY 13206).
