It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roberta G. Doremus of Tallman, New York, who passed away on June 5, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Roberta G. Doremus to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Ackerson and Gladys Ackerson (Hopper); and her husband George Doremus. She is survived by: her daughter Doreen Zarcone (Doremus); her son-in-law Robert Zarcone; her son Robert Doremus Sr. (Kelly DePaolis); her grandchildren, Dominick Zarcone, Robert Doremus Jr. and Gina Zarcone; and her siblings, Ethel Doody (Ackerson), Darlene Rothaupt (Ackerson) and Charles Ackerson.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wanamaker and Carlough Funeral Home (177 NY-59, Suffern, NY 10901). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. An entombment will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 at the Memories Cemetery.
In remembrance of her life, the family requests that charitable donations be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Tallman Fire Department Memorial Fund.
