It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marjorie Avella of Thornwood, New York, who passed away on October 8, 2020, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilfred Brodeur and Margaret Brodeur; her husband Alexander Avella; and her siblings, Norman Brodeur and Marilou Martell.
She is survived by: her sons, Alexander Avella III of Colombia, SA, Jeffrey Avella (Natalie) of Balston Lake, N. Y. and Douglas Avella (Jennifer) of Thornwood, N. Y.; her grandchildren, Justin, Ashley, Mia, Sylvie, Alexandra and Victoria; her nephew Fred Stock of Norwalk, CT; her great-nephew Marshall; her great-niece Sally; and her niece Donna Martino.
In lieu of flowers donations to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, Memphis, TN, would be appreciated.
