He is survived by : his sisters, Mary Ann Van Steen and Linda Lucia (Daniel); and his nieces and nephews, Richard Van Steen (Joanne), Christopher Van Steen (Carrie), Leanne Lucia, Karen Mirabella (Marc) and Ryan Lucia (Allison). He is also survived by twelve great-nieces and nephews.
