She was predeceased by: her husband Charles J. Oswald, Jr.; her son Jay William Oswald; her parents, Willard Grupe and Nora Grupe; and her sister Donna Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Sheila Cole (Jerry) and Charles J.; her grandchildren, Jason (Erin), Justin, Shauna (Denny), Jessica (Bill), Cassie and Charles IV (Magan); and her sisters, Audrey Werth (Allan) and Karen Greth. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are preferred to the American Cancer Society of WNY.
