He was predeceased by: his siblings, Vincenza "Jennie" Cappellino, Toby Asarese and Christine Asarese. He is survived by: his wife Pamela K.; his children, Daniel Asarese (Heidi), Pamela Kendig (Robert) and Philip Asarese; his stepsons, Robert Schmarder (Sarah), Michael Schmarder (Tiffany) and Eric Schmarder (Robin); his grandchildren, Amanda (Zack), Jason, Nicholas (Chelsea), Alexandria, Katherine (Valerie), Evangelista, Joseph, Maxwell, Ryan, Maggie, Mabel and Olive; his great grandchildren, Hudson and Knox; his sister Rosalie Asarese; and his siblings-in-law, Russell Cappellino and Claudia Asarese.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Tonawanda Chapel (2600 Sheridan Dr, Tonawanda, NY 14150). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. An entombment was held on Monday, December 8th 2025 at 2:15 PM at the Mt. Olivet Cemetery (4000 Elmwood Ave, Buffalo, NY 14217).
