She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Papaj; and her siblings, Alice Korus (Mel), Frank Brill (Carol), Earl Popkins, Milton Popkins and Sidney Popkins.
She is survived by: her children, Mark Papaj (Patty), Pamela Rusch, Darlene Williams and Robert Jr. Papaj (Melissa); and her grandchildren, Mark Papaj Jr., Nick Papaj (Susan), April Jaeger (Jason), Danielle Small (Adam), Josef Rusch (Elizabeth), Robert Rusch (Joelle), Lindsey Jonas (Michael), Ryan Williams, Sarah Papaj (James) and Alex Papaj (Marissa). She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made in memory of Helen to Hospice Buffalo.
