He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Michele Spagna; his children, Theresa, Michael Spagna (Nydia), Philip (Karen), Lori Diati (David Ziemer), Shelly Karl (Robert) and Francis Spagna (Eileen); his friend Arlene Spagna; his parents, Michael Spagna and Provviolenza Spagna; his siblings, Lawrence Spagna, Mae Gambino, Theresa Carbone and Rose Uguccioni; his mother-in-law Mary Lou Aprile; and his siblings-in-law, Mary Margaret Aprile (John Egan), Michael Aprile and Shirley Aprile. He was also cherished by nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Philip's name to the JDRF Foundation.
