He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Winney and Marilyn Winney (Stark); and his brother John Elvey. He is survived by: his wife Catherine Winney (Newman); his children, Richard S. Winney (Andrea) and Kristen Toczek (Eric); his siblings, Jeanne Daniels, Charles Winney (Linda), Robert Winney (Margaret) and James Winney (Jennifer); his brothers-in-law, Mark Newman (Cary), Richard Newman (Michele) and Christopher Newman (Janice); and his grandchildren, Guinevere, Liam and Desmond Toczek. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and dearly loved friends.
