He was predeceased by : his parents, Donald W. Hastings and Isabel G. Prentiss Hastings; and his nephew David B. Hastings. He is survived by : his brother Donald C. Hastings; his nephew Stephen D. Hastings; his niece Allison M. Fondacaro (David); and his great-nephews, Sam and Ben Fondacaro.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. (276 Pawling Ave, Troy, NY 12180). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
