He was predeceased by: his parents, John Rice and Christine Rice. He is survived by: his wife Rosemarie Rice; his children, John Jacob Rice (Jake) and Renata Rice (Sergio Balderrama); his grandchildren, Athena, Hunter Rice, Julian and Lia Balderrama; and his siblings, Carl Rice (Mary Lou), Karen Shoup (Charles) and Andrew Rice (Alison). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
