She was predeceased by : her parents, Hartley Essex and Esther Essex; and her brothers, Dale and Glenn Essex. She is survived by : her husband John J. Kotun; her children, Joseph Kotun (Rees Warne) and Heidi Dawes (Will Dawes); her grandchildren, Rose and Oanh Dawes; and her siblings, Phillip Essex, Allan Essex and Alice Moore. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
