He was predeceased by : his parents, John McAuley and Helen McAuley (McLaughlin); and his sister Eileen Murphy. He is survived by : his wife Donna M. McAuley (Sullivan); his children, Frank Cassar (Kasey) of Kankakee, IL, John Joseph McAuley of Kankakee, IL and Erin McAuley (Ryan) of Leesburg, VA; and his grandsons, Benjamin and Samuel Cassar.
