We bid farewell to LeRoy C. Merley Jr. of Utica, New York, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 4, 2025 at the age of 92. LeRoy touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, LeRoy C. Merley, Sr. and Norah Merley (Condon); his parents-in-law, Frank and Helen Jennings; his sister Beverly Fey; and his brothers-in-law, Joseph Fey, Fred Bouse and Larry Jennings.
He is survived by: his wife MaryAnn Jennings; his sister Kathryn Bouse; and his brothers-in-law, Francis Jennings (Nancy), Bob Jennings (Joyce), Brian Jennings (Marcia), George Jennings and Tim Jennings. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, September 10th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Historic Old St. John's Church (240 Bleecker St, Utica, NY 13501).
In lieu of flowers, remembrances in Roy's name may be made to the Historic Old St. John's Church Memorial Fund.
