With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jane Marie Fischer (Valatie, New York), born in Hudson, New York, who passed away on May 1, 2024 at the age of 92. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jane Marie Fischer to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Marie Heimroth (Fay) and John J. Heimroth; her brother John Heimroth; and her husband Henry "Bud" Fischer. She is survived by : her children, Douglas Fischer (Lisa) and Krista Richards (Jeff); her grandchildren, Amanda Grignon (Jason), Brad Fischer (Savannah) and Rebecca Fischer (Trevor); her great grandchildren, Jaden Grignon, Ethan Grignon and Ellie Fischer; her brother Wayne Heimroth (Sally); and her sister-in-law Lois Bertram. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 7th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Luke's Lutheran Church (1010 Kinderhook St, Valatie, NY 12184). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 7th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, May 7th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the Kinderhook Cemetery.
