He was predeceased by: his wife Ruth Peguero; his parents, Pedro Publio Peguero and Rosa Blanca Marchena Peguero; his brother Jose Peguero; his brother-in-law Victor Cruz; and his aunt Carida Marchena.
He is survived by: his children, Rose, Peter and Charles Peguero; his sister Blanca Peguero Cruz (Grace); his grandchildren, Kattie Grady (Nathaniel), Alexander Bespalko, Tyler Peguero (Teresa), Molly Hanley (Chris), Peter E. Peguero and Karly Peguero (Kody Schmeiske); and his great grandchildren, James Peguero and Galileo Grady (Leo). He is also survived by cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Demetrio's memory to either the National Multiple Sclerosis Society or the American Heart Association.
