He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy; his brothers, Lynn Ward and Edgar Erieg; and his children, William Eckman, Burt Stasko and Bonnie Eckman.
He is survived by: his children, Patricia Bradley, Debra Bentley and Robin Dutcher; and his nieces, Sandra Brown and Marianne Kingston. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter.
