He was predeceased by: his parents, Roobnarine Samaroo and Nankie Samaroo; and his sibling Mulchand Samaroo. He is survived by: his wife Carrie Samaroo; his siblings, Dhanmatie Ramlagan, Diakumar Samaroo, Ramoutar Samaroo, Deonarine Samaroo, Deoraine Takur, Vissondial Samaroo and Parpoweeall Samaroo; his children, Melissa Samaroo, Neil Samaroo, Christine Sawh, LeeAnn Magee, Amanda Magee and Maryann Magee; and his grandchildren, Trenton Lindsey, Braven Ellenburg, Caleb Weber, Abigail Emde, Eva Dunbar and Bishop Magee. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
