She was predeceased by: her father Milton; her husband Israel R. Ashton; her son-in-law Joseph Amoia; and her siblings, Howard, Robert, Muriel, Gloria, Jeanette and Nancy.

She is survived by: her children, Edward M. Ashton (Catina) and Sharon Amoia of Wallkill; her granddaughter Shantelle Ferranti; and her great grandchildren, Kacie and Isabelle.
