She was predeceased by : her parents, Clarence A. Whitmeyer and Emily E. Peters Whitmeyer; her brothers, Charles Whitmeyer, Clarence Whitmeyer and Donald Whitmeyer; and her former life partner Harold "Bob" Murphy.

She is survived by : her daughter Donna; her son-in-law Dan Apple of Myrtle Beach, SC; and her grandchildren, David Gullerat and Michelle Pulaski.
