He was predeceased by : his parents, Davis H. Hyland and Emma Thurston Hyland; and his siblings, Gloria Chesebro, Blanche Maiura, Rose Mansfield and Bert L. Hyland.
He is survived by : his wife Caroline Owcarz; his daughters, Dawn Krueger (Michael) of Oneida and Karen Walasek of Oneida; his grandchildren, Joshua and Stephanie Barlow; his great grandchildren, Michael Barlow and Hayden Bartholomew; and his sisters, Abbie Deraway of Munnsville and Ruth Griffin of Raleigh, NC. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
