She was predeceased by: her parents, Manoog Mirzaian and Perooz Hovsepian Casparian Mirzaian; her brothers, Casper and Aram Casparian; and her sister-in-law Novart Casparian.
She is survived by: her husband Edward K. Shahbazian; her children, Michael Shahbazian (Pamela Klym) of Tampa, Florida, David Shahbazian (Erna) of Kingston and Karen Shahbazian Berliner (Jeff) of Princeton; her grandchildren, Andrew, Kevin Shahbazian, Ani Shahbazian, Rachel and Sarah Berliner; her sister-in-law Nancy Casparian; her brothers, Haig Casparian (Kathryn), Armen Manasar (Nora) and Jack Boyajian (late Miriam); and her siblings-in-law, Ruth and Sarkis Bedevian. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
