With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eileen C. McDonald Sassmann (Wappingers Falls, New York), born in Denver, Colorado, who passed away on November 16, 2021 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Eileen C. McDonald (McKay) and Joseph W. McDonald; and her siblings, Theresa, Joe, Pete and Chas.
She is survived by: her siblings, John (Theresa) and Beth Bishop (Larry); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Cody, Tyler, Liam, Payton and Teagan McDonald. She is also survived by sister-in-law, Donna McDonald, NY; niece and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Eileen's name to the McDonald Family Scholarship or the Betty Marie Doran Nursing Scholarship, both through Mount Saint Mary College, or the Grinnell Public Library, 2642 E. Main Street, Wappingers Falls, NY 12590.
