It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Helyn K Hedeman of Wappingers Falls, New York, who passed away on January 16, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Helen Lomasney and Abner Lomasney; her brother Marty; her husband Walter Hedeman; her sons, Walter, Keith and John; her daughter-in-law Susan; and her granddaughter Helyna. She was also cherished by the oldest of three children, including her sister Nan.

Because of her love of books and teaching others to read, her family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Room to Read in her name.
