He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Murray and Lillian Murray (Penny); his wife Ruth Anne Murray (Martin); his daughter Suzanne Rock; his son-in-law Frank Ritacco; and his grandson Philip James "PJ" Rock.
He is survived by: his children, Joseph Murray, Kathleen (Steven Alewine), Brian Patrick (Margaret Murray), Anne Marie (Guy Martin), Maureen Ritacco and Stephen John (Sherry Murray); his son-in-law Philip Rock; his grandchildren, Joseph III, Shane, Kelly, Melissa, Mina, Matthew, Ashley, Corey, Jacinta, Frank, James, Heather and Samantha; and his great grandchildren, Francesca, Victoria, Kal-El, Leia, Pippin, Amelia, Kennedy, Ruth Anne, Isabella and Katelynn.
