He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Kear and Doris Busch Kear. He is survived by: his wife Frances "Francie" Conforti Stretz; his children, Allison Kear of Florida, Anthony Stretz of Wappingers Falls and Donny Stretz (Amanda) of Tulsa, Oklahoma; his siblings, Edward Kear (Judy) of Fishkill and Darlene Gardner (Alan) of Florida; his sister-in-law Teresa Bender (Mike) of South Carolina; his grandchildren, Macee and Ava Stretz; his nieces, Melissa Schneider (Richie), Megan Ryan, Barbara Gardner and Lisa Gardner; his nephew Matthew Ryan (Cadey); and his pet Bailey.
