She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph A. Johnson Sr.; her siblings, Peter J. Sanfilippo Jr., Ronald Sanfilippo, Patricia Miller and Barbara Cocco; and her parents, Peter J. Sanfilippo Sr. and Mary Waichausky.

She is survived by: her children, Patricia Fischer, Susan Brownell and Joseph A. Johnson Jr. (Dianne); her grandchildren, Zachary Fischer (Marisa), Hannah Johnson (Tyler Rath) and Jessica King; her sisters, Doris Dominicis and Phyllis Campala; and her daughter Mary. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Well-spoken and knowledgeable, Mary loved reading and loaned me a book signed by the author about his wonderful life growing up on the Hudson. My condolences!”
