It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robert Thompson (Wappingers Falls, New York), born in Yonkers, New York, who passed away on February 20, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren Thompson and RoseAnne Shaefer Thompson; his son Scott Robert Thompson; and his siblings, Carol, Raymond, Kay Lynn, Richard, Jimmy, Rosemary and Harry.
He is survived by: his wife Gail Sunde; his children, Doreen Giamportone (Phil) of Hyde Park and Gregory Thompson (Tazeem) of Ramona, California; his sister RoseAnn Montalbano (Joe) of Fishkill; and his grandchildren, Michelle, Marissa Giamportone, Annalene and Zachary Thompson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
