Griffen of Warsaw, New York, born in Pike, New York, who passed away on November 19, 2022, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, William Buckley and Edith Lewis Buckley; her husband Vernon Griffen; her son Terence Griffen; her siblings, Charlotte Upright, Marian Brown, Maude Bisson, Violet Green, Delphine Hall, David Buckley and William Buckley; her son-in-law Gary Holmes; and her siblings-in-law, Reva Buckley and Rev. Donald Brown.

She is survived by : her daughter Ann Holmes (Ray Brooks) of Warsaw; her grandchildren, Jennifer Conti (Mike), Jason Holmes, Michelle Phelps, Dr. Edward Griffen (Jay) and Jeremey Daly-Griffen (Jesse); and her daughter-in-law Joyce Griffen (Brad Fisher). She is also survived by Nine great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.
