He was predeceased by: his parents, John Joseph and Marie Elizabeth Doherty (Kelly). He is survived by: his wife Jacquelyn (Perreault); his daughter Mary Elaine Bailenson (Aaron); his grandchildren, Elle Ciera, Jack Lucas and Emilia Marion; his former wife Anna Cavanaugh Perry; his children, David John Doherty (Arianna) and Alicia Marie Boaz (Jeffrey); and his grandchildren, Emma, Ryan and Bradly.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Dufresne and Cavanaugh Funeral Home (149 Old Loudon Rd, Latham, NY 12110). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Pius X Church (23 Crumitie Rd, Loudonville, NY 12211). A burial will be held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the St. Mary's Cemetery (65 Middletown Rd, Waterford, NY 12188).
