With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Loraine Zawistowski (Waterford, New York), who passed away on December 1, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Loraine farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Loraine is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lauren Brown and Mary Kawola Brown; and her sister Joan Kimble. She is survived by: her husband Raymond Zawistowski; her sons, Mark Zawistowski (Bernadette) of Gansevoort and Brian Zawistowski of Cohoes; and her grandchild Kayleigh Flynn Zawistowski.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Philip J. Brendese Funeral Home (133 Broad St, Waterford, NY 12188). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM and at 10:00 AM.
