He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph W. Gayne and Hazel G. Gayne (Clark); his son Mark V.; and his brother Ralph Gayne. He is survived by: his children, Lynn Gayne (Trevor Bolton), Robert L. Gayne (Julie), James F. Gayne (Leslie), Dexter, Cheri LaMarche (Keith) and Lyle C. Gayne, Jr. (Becky); his siblings, Leland Gayne, Bonnie Raymo and Carol Denault; and his sister-in-law Barbara Gayne. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
