Michael David Saunders Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael David Saunders of Watertown, New York, who passed away on June 6, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Saunders and Emma Saunders (Platt); his significant other Patricia Puffer Tryon; and his sister Denise Casey. He is survived by: his children, Amy Russell (Mark) and Matthew Saunders (Ann); his grandchildren, Andrew, David Saunders, Emma Seitz (Jarrod), Sam and Trey Russell; his significant other's children, Jolie Tryon (Randy Nier), Jill LaGrange (Nate) of Indianapolis, IN and Joel Tryon (Camille) of Cedar Rapids, IA; and his sister Andrea Tuttle of Boulder, CO. He is also survived by her 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Cummings Funeral Service, Inc. (214 Sterling St, Watertown, NY 13601). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Trinity Episcopal Church (227 Sherman St, Watertown, NY 13601). A burial will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Point Vivian Cemetery.
