Horace A. Hallock Sr. Obituary
We are sad to announce that on May 29, 2025, at the age of 88, Horace A. Hallock Sr. (Watervliet, New York) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Horace Edward Hallock and Emma H. Van De Wal; his wife Ellen Elizabeth Hallock; his daughter Nadine Hallock; and his grandson Michael Hallock.
He is survived by: his children, Cindy Hallock of Albany, NY, Darlene Hallock of Cohoes, NY, Horace Hallock Jr. (Catherine) of Woodruff, SC and Larry Hallock (Missie) of Cohoes, NY; his grandchildren, Jessiccah Martin Dustin (Chad), Brandon Hallock (Tessa), Tationna Hallock, Gage Hallock and Naomi McCaffrey (Joshua); and his great grandchildren, Cambria, Nevaeh, Cayson, Jo, Benjamin, Elijah and Ava.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the New Comer Cremations & Funerals (181 Troy-Schenectady Rd, Watervliet, NY 12189). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at the Gerald B. H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery (200 Duell Rd, Schuylerville, NY 12871).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Horace's name to Golden Land Baptist Missions: GLBM, Timothy Davis, 209 Gardner Rd, Horseheads, NY 14845.
