She was predeceased by : her parents, Alva Chandler and Louisa Lattimer Chandler; and her siblings, Asa Chandler, Alva Chandler Jr. (Irene), Joyce Janowsky (Fritz), Albert Chandler (Ruth), Florence Langeland (Harold), Betty Bubacz (Ken), Norman Chandler, Mary Foster (Gene), Annamae Waltman (Guy), Dale Chandler, Sarah Bargesser and Arthur Cole.

She is survived by : her husband Ora F. Whipple Jr. of Waverly; her children, Ora J. "Jim" Whipple of Waverly, Mark Whipple (Julie) of Waverly and William Whipple (Lura) of Lockwood; her siblings, Robert Chandler (Lila) of Waverly and Helen Cole of Owego; her siblings-in-law, Leona Chandler and Daniel Bargesser; her grandchildren, Ashley, Emily, Amy, Billy, Mark, Tyler and Nick; and her great grandchildren, Mia, Ryan, Shayla, Dakota, Nevaeh, Addyson and Laine. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Blauvelt Funeral Home (625 Broad St, Waverly, NY 14892). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
