With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rowland Crossett (Waverly, New York), born in Sayre, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 26, 2018 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William M. Crossett and Amanda Crossett (Hoffman); his wife Florence "Sally" Crossett; his son Clarence VanHorn; and his siblings, James "Jimmy" Crossett, Wilton "Buster" Crossett, Carl "Chub" Crossett, Carlyle "Tuffy" Crossett and Alberta "Bertie" Sherman.
He is survived by: his daughter-in-law Kay VanHorn of Waverly; his sister-in-law Barbara Crossett; and his grandchildren, Michael VanHorn, Mark VanHorn, Mitchell VanHorn, Melissa Lougher, Matthew VanHorn and Marcy Burgess. He is also survived by ten great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
