It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rheba Merritt of Weedsport, New York, born in Auburn, New York, who passed away on January 6, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Albert Simmons and Lillian Ashby Simmons; and her husband Harold Merritt. She is survived by : her children, Lorie Johnson (Dale), Joy Cote, Dorothy Walrath and Doug Simmons; and her stepchildren, Annette Merritt, Shirley Salisbury and Linda Bertollini (Floyd). She is also survived by many grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
