Vernon Merle Hopkins Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 11, 2025, at the age of 83, Vernon Merle Hopkins of West Falls, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his wife Diane S. Hopkins; his children, Brien Hopkins (Eileen), Bret Hopkins (Joan) and Denine Cole (Benjamin); his grandchildren, Justin, Casey, Megan, Colin, Erik, Ryan Hopkins, Courtney Thomasula, Ashley Knapp, Mason and Walker Cole; his great grandchildren, Greyson, Lawson, Lainey, Madison, Julianna and Nina; his brothers, Robert (Diane) and Mark Hopkins (Rebecca); and his brother-in-law Michael Orcutt. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Comfort Funeral Home Inc. (6469 Olean Rd, South Wales, NY 14139). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church (53 W Falls Rd, West Falls, NY 14170).
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church Building Fund.
