He was predeceased by: his child Kathryn Picinich (Gietl); and his brothers-in-law, George Lukkar, Robert Egan and John Grenham. He is survived by: his husband Lyle Q. Taylor of Youngstown, OH; his sisters, Pauline Lukkar of Pensacola, FL and Elizabeth Egan Grenham of Riverhead, NY.; his grandchildren, Jonas E., Elias N. Picinich of Waterford, CT, Zachary W., Patrick A. and Benjamin T. Taylor of Columbiana; and also Thomas J. Picinich (Ellen Klechner) of Waterford, CT.. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
