It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leon Legere Jr. (West Monroe, New York), born in Raquette Lake, New York, who passed away on May 9, 2018, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his parents, Leon Legere and Ethel Legere; his wife Leona Cook-Legere; his children, Leon Legere III (Freda), Lori "Lucy" Legere (Melissa Davis), Lisa Murphy (Don) and Lizette Pierson (Lance); his sisters, Linda Gasser (John) and Leslie Felice (Phil); and his grandchildren, Leon Legere IV, Luke Legere, Lena Willingham (Michael), Will Davis, Brian Murphy, Chris Murphy, Melissa Murphy, Kelsey Pierson, Arista Pierson and Aunt Catherine Pellikka. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
