He is survived by: his wife Margaret Ryder Gearsbeck; his children, Linda Allen (Danny) of Mexico and Richard Gearsbeck II (Patricia) of Hastings; his brothers, Randall Gearsbeck of Zephrhills Florida, Arthur Gearsbeck (Sharon) of West Monroe and Robert Gearsbeck (Dorothy) of Zephrhills Florida; and his grandchildren, Richard Gearsbeck III of Hastings, Michael Gearsbeck of West Monroe, Katy Gearsbeck of Hastings, Victoria Grabowski (Chad) of Pennellville, Remo Valazza II of Fulton, Nicole Butchino (Jarrett) of Hannibal, Danielle Allen and Rebecca Allen of New Haven.
