He was predeceased by: his parents, Bayard Collier Thompson Carmiencke Sr. and Frances Catherine Ellison; and his grandfather Bayard Carmine Carmiencke. He is survived by: his brother David Ellison Carmiencke; his wife Susan Constance Healey of Sayville, L. I.; his sons, Bayard Collier III and Leonard Holmes; his daughter-in-law Debra Jean Romanello Carmiencke; his grandson Bayard Carmine; his sister-in-law Susan Cesarano Carmiencke; his stepsister Linda Engstrom Doublestein; and his nephews, David Ellison Jr. and Donald Ellison.
