We are sad to announce that on April 17, 2024, at the age of 101, Ida DeMarco (West Sayville, New York) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid Ida farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Ida is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

She is survived by : her daughter Loretta Quimby (Ed); her grandchildren, Dara Wolfskill, Dan, Nicole Quimby, John and Gwendolyn Piazza; and her great grandchild Khrysti Wolfskill.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM at the Raynor & D'Andrea Funeral Home (245 Main St, West Sayville, NY 11796). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. John Nepomucene RC Church (1140 Locust Ave, Bohemia, NY 11716).
