Steven Boogertman Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Steven Boogertman (West Sayville, New York), who passed away on October 15, 2025 at the age of 73. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Steven Boogertman to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Boogertman and May Boogertman (Van Essendelft); his brother Brian; and his sister-in-law Karen Boogertman (Schroeder). He is survived by: his grandson Frederick Boogertman of Silverdale, Washington; his great grandchildren, Nicole, Beth Clarey, Tommy Clarey and Luke Katzaman; his sisters, Virginia Lackey (Ray) of Caledonia, MI and Ann DeGroot (Don) of Byron Center, MI; his friend Allen McFetridge of Maysville; Shawn Katzaman. He is also survived by two aunts, many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial service was held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Grace Church (Formerly Faith Reformed Church) (618 32nd St SW, Wyoming, MI 49509). Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Raynor & D'Andrea Funeral Homes (245 Main St, West Sayville, NY 11796). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
