He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Mary Zak, and Edward Zak, Sr.; his brother Robert Zak, Sr. (late Joannie); and his nephews, Michael Zak, Randy Zak and Robert Zak, Jr.. He was also cherished by many cousins and friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Pietszak Funeral Home (2400 William St, Cheektowaga, NY 14206). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Teresa's Parish (1974 Seneca St, Buffalo, NY 14210). An entombment was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at the St. Stanislaus Cemetery (700 Pine Ridge Heritage Blvd, Buffalo, NY 14225).
